11kv Porcelain Expulsion Fuse Cut Out Switch

Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are state-of-the-art outdoor devices meticulously crafted for high-voltage protection. These pivotal components are flawlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of a distribution transformer or lines, engineered to safeguard transformers and lines against short circuits and overloads. They expertly manage on/off loading and current flow. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout is engineered with a solid structure that includes insulative insulator supports and a resilient fuse tube. Static contacts are securely anchored on both sides of the insulator support, while a moving contact is expertly integrated at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself features an internal arc-extinguishing tube, encased in a robust outer shell crafted from either phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The Load Switching Fuse Cutout elevates functionality with reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient handling of on-off loading currents with utmost precision.
Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link, meticulously tightened in the fuse tube, ensures a steadfast closed position. In the event of a system malfunction, the ensuing fault current swiftly melts the fuse, setting off an electric arc. This process rapidly heats the arc-extinguishing tube, unleashing a surge of gas that generates high pressure, effectively extinguishing the arc within the tube. Once the fuse link has melted, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to elegantly drop out, transitioning to an open position. To execute a switch-off during cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to deftly manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc is skillfully formed, expertly extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure. Concurrently, the enclosure releases gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero.
