11kV Expulsion Fuse Complete with Holder

Our state-of-the-art drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are engineered for outdoor use, providing robust high-voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, they serve as crucial guardians against short circuits, overloads, and loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout features an innovative design composed of insulating supports and a fuse tube. Static contacts are sturdily mounted on both sides of the insulator support, while the moving contact is precisely positioned at the tube's ends. The fuse tube comprises an inside arc-extinguishing tube encased in an outer layer of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. Our load switching fuse cutout ensures enhanced performance with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and a specialized arc-extinguishing enclosure, facilitating seamless on-off loading current operations.
In normal operation, the fuse link fastens the fuse tube into a closed position. Should a fault occur, the fault current instantly melts the fuse, causing an electric arc. This process heats the arc-extinguishing tube, generating a high-pressure gas discharge that extinguishes the arc. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering a mechanism that unlocks and drops the fuse tube, signaling an open position. For switching off during load conditions, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged. As pulling continues, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc. The arc is extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure, where an explosive gas discharge blows off the arc as the current passes zero.
