Our high voltage fuse cutout is an essential component for primary overhead feeder lines and taps, meticulously designed to safeguard distribution transformers from the perils of short-circuits and overloads. This robust device operates by melting the fuse when the current surpasses a specified threshold for a designated duration, causing the switch mechanism to visibly open and safely disconnect the transformer from the line. This cutout is characterized by its economic efficiency, ease of operation, and remarkable adaptability to outdoor environments. Additionally, it functions as an isolating switch, ensuring a secure working environment for power line and equipment during maintenance.

Service Conditions

Altitude: Less than 1000 meters above sea level
Temperature range: -40ºC to +40ºC
Relative Humidity: Daily average not exceeding 95%, with a monthly average not surpassing 90%.
The installation site must be devoid of fire, explosion hazards, chemical corrosion, and severe vibrations.


Mounting Arrangement
The cutout is expertly designed to be mounted at an optimal angle of 15° to 20° from vertical, adaptable for installation on either steel cross-arms or poles. The mounting bracket features a hole allowing the cutout to be securely affixed by a vertical bolt through the cross-arm's center line, ensuring stability and durability.
