Introducing our Power High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop Out Fuse Cutout: a cutting-edge solution designed to deliver unmatched safety and reliability. Equipped with a Load Break Fuse ranging from 30kv to 36kv and boasting a substantial creepage distance of 720mm, this innovative product ensures optimal performance even in the most demanding conditions.

Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are essential high-voltage protective devices expertly crafted for outdoor use. Seamlessly integrating with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they are engineered to shield transformers and lines from the damaging effects of short circuits and overloads while efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout comprises robust insulated insulator supports, a versatile fuse tube, and secure static contacts fixed on both sides of the insulator support, complemented by a dynamic moving contact at each end of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is composed of an advanced inside arc-extinguishing tube, encased in an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. Our Load Switching Fuse Cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, providing seamless switching for on-off loading currents.
Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link securely fastens the fuse tube to maintain a closed position. However, in the event of a system fault, the fault current causes the fuse to melt instantaneously, igniting an electrical arc. This action heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a substantial amount of gas, thereby generating high pressure that channels the arc along the tube. As the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For switching off during cutout loading, operators can utilize an insulated operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain connected; however, upon further pulling, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc. This arc elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, and simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing gas expels, effectively extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero.
