36kV High Voltage Porcelain Fuse Cutout Switch

Our drop-out fuse cutouts and load-switching fuse cutouts stand as premier outdoor high voltage protective devices, meticulously engineered for optimal performance. Designed for seamless integration with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they serve as vigilant guardians, shielding transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads while managing on/off loading currents with finesse. These cutouts feature robust insulator supports and a precisely crafted fuse tube. Static contacts are securely anchored on both sides of the insulator support, with a dynamic moving contact strategically installed at either end of the fuse tube. The fuse tube incorporates an advanced arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped in either a phenolic compound paper tube or a durable epoxy glass tube. Our load-switching fuse cutouts further enhance functionality with elastic auxiliary contacts and a sophisticated arc-extinguishing enclosure adeptly handling on-off loading currents.
In normal operation, the fuse link, securely fastened to the fuse tube, maintains a closed position, ensuring reliable system performance. Should a fault arise, the resulting fault current rapidly melts the fuse, initiating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, triggering an explosion of gas that generates high pressure, expelling the arc along the tube. Upon the melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses its tension, unlocking the mechanism and allowing the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For switching off during load conditions, operators can adeptly use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged, but as the auxiliary contact is separated, an electric arc forms. This arc is skillfully elongated within the arc-extinguishing enclosure, with the resultant gas discharge extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring seamless load disconnection.
