Designated as the pinnacle of high-voltage protection, the 33kv 36kv Silicone Rubber Polymer Drop-out C/W Solid Link Fuse Cutout stands as a testament to cutting-edge protective technology.

The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are outdoor high-voltage protective devices, expertly engineered to safeguard distribution transformers and lines against short circuits and overloads. When connected to the incoming feeder, they assure seamless protection and load switching capabilities. Each fuse cutout comprises durable insulator supports, a sophisticated fuse tube, and static contacts fixed on the insulator's edges, with a moving contact ingeniously installed on the fuse tube's ends. Within lies the arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped in a robust phenolic paper or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout features enhanced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure designed for efficient load current management.
Under normal conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a closed position. However, in the event of a fault, the resulting fault current swiftly melts the fuse, initiating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, generating a surge of gas that drives high pressure along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, unlocking the mechanism and allowing the fuse tube to drop, transitioning the cutout to an open state. For switching operations, an operator may skillfully use an insulating bar to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain connected, but as the auxiliary contact disengages, an electric arc forms. This arc extends within the arc-extinguishing gap, facilitating gas explosions that effectively extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
