Introducing our cutting-edge Power High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop Out Fuse Cutout and Load Break Fuse, operating effectively at 33kv-36kv.

Our drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are robust, outdoor high voltage protective devices, designed to seamlessly integrate with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines. These units primarily safeguard transformers or lines from short circuits and overloads, while also allowing for efficient on/off loading and current management. Each drop-out fuse cutout features insulative insulator supports and a precision-engineered fuse tube. Static contacts secure both sides of the insulator support, while a mobile contact is cleverly fitted at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself comprises an internal arc-extinguishing tube and is encased in either a high-strength phenolic compound paper or an epoxy glass tube. Our load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and a state-of-the-art arc-extinguishing enclosure for optimal on-off loading current control.
During normal operation, the fuse link, securely fastened, holds the fuse tube in a closed position. Upon system faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc and causing the arc-extinguishing tube to heat significantly, releasing a large volume of gas. This process generates high pressure, propelling the arc along the tube. Following the melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube disengages, transitioning the cutout to an open position. For manual disconnection during loading, operators can utilize an insulating operating bar to draw the moving contact. Initially, this keeps the main contact and auxiliary static contact engaged. As pulling continues, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc. This arc extends within the arc-extinguishing enclosure's gap, while simultaneously, the enclosure releases gas to extinguish the arc as it crosses the zero-current point.
