36kV High Voltage Porcelain Fuse Cutout Switch

Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are premium outdoor high-voltage protective devices designed to safeguard distribution transformers and lines. By connecting seamlessly with incoming feeders, these devices expertly shield transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads while facilitating on/off loading of current. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout features robust insulator supports and a reliable fuse tube, with static contacts securely mounted on either side and a dynamic contact at each end of the tube. The tube comprises a core arc-extinguishing component encased in a durable phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. Our Load Switching Fuse Cutout is equipped with enhanced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient current loading and switching.
Under normal conditions, the fuse link secures the tube in a closed position. Should a fault arise, the resultant fault current causes the fuse to melt instantaneously, releasing an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, generating high-pressure gases that expel the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, locking the mechanism and allowing the fuse tube to drop, rendering the cutout open. For switching off during load, operators use an insulating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged, but as the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc forms and extends within the arc-extinguishing gap, culminating in a gas explosion that extinguishes the arc at zero current.
