Introducing our high-performance Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout, meticulously crafted for unparalleled outdoor high-voltage protection. These indispensable devices seamlessly connect with the incoming feeder of a distribution transformer or lines, safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuits and overloads. They expertly manage on/off loading and regulate current flow with precision. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout is constructed with a robust and insulative structure, featuring durable insulator supports and a resilient fuse tube. Static contacts are steadfastly anchored on both sides of the insulator support, while an adeptly integrated moving contact resides at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is ingeniously designed with an internal arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped in a protective outer shell crafted from high-quality phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. Enhancing functionality, the Load Switching Fuse Cutout is fortified with elastic auxiliary contacts and a specialized arc-extinguishing enclosure, efficiently handling on-off loading currents with ease.
Under optimal operating conditions, our fuse link is expertly secured within the fuse tube, steadfastly maintaining a closed position. In the event of a system fault, the resulting fault current swiftly melts the fuse, creating an electric arc. This process rapidly heats the arc-extinguishing tube, unleashing a powerful surge of gas that generates high pressure, effectively extinguishing the arc within the tube. Upon melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the locking mechanism and resulting in the fuse tube's drop-out to signify an open position. For a switch-off during cutout loading, operators skillfully employ an insulating operating bar to maneuver the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged. Upon separation of the auxiliary contact, an electric arc forms and is expertly extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure. Simultaneously, the enclosure releases gas, efficiently blowing out the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring seamless operation and safety.
