Power High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop-out Fuse Cutout, Load Break Fuse 33kv-36kv

Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are state-of-the-art protective devices crafted for outdoor high voltage applications. Seamlessly integrating with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they serve as the ultimate defense, safeguarding your transformers or lines from devastating short circuits and overloads, while managing the load and current with precision. The sophisticated design features robust insulate insulator supports, a fuse tube, and static contacts securely anchored on both sides of the insulator support, with a moving contact expertly installed at each end of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is a marvel, combining a high-performance inside arc-extinguishing tube with an outer shell made from phenolic compound paper or durable epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring seamless load current switching operations.
In normal operation, the fuse link, tightly secured, holds the fuse tube in a closed position. However, should a fault occur within the system, the resulting fault current will cause the fuse to melt instantaneously, initiating an electric arc within the fuse tube. This triggers the arc-extinguishing tube to rapidly heat and release a substantial volume of gas, generating high pressure and directing the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop, shifting the cutout to an open position. For load switching, operators can use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged, but as the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc forms. This arc is elongated within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, where explosive gas is unleashed to swiftly extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
