Introducing the robust and efficient Electrical 27 kV 100A Porcelain Fuse Cutout, engineered for maximum reliability.
Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are crucial high-voltage protective devices designed for outdoor applications. Seamlessly connecting with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, these devices ensure the utmost protection against short circuits and overloads while facilitating on-off loading. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout comprises durable insulator supports and a sophisticated fuse tube. Fixed static contacts and strategically installed moving contacts enhance functionality. The fuse tube, crafted from an arc-extinguishing inner tube and an outer phenolic or epoxy glass tube, ensures durability and efficiency. Our advanced load switching fuse cutout features enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, guaranteeing seamless switching of load currents.
During standard operations, the fuse link is securely fastened, establishing a closed position. If a fault occurs, the resulting fault current swiftly melts the fuse, creating an electric arc. This activates the arc-extinguishing tube to generate high-pressure gases, crucial in extinguishing the arc. Once the fuse link melts, the reduced tension allows the mechanism to disengage, and the fuse tube drops, transitioning to an open position. For switching during load conditions, an insulating operating bar is used to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary contacts remain engaged, but upon separation, an arc forms between them. This arc is elongated through the arc-extinguishing enclosure, where specialized gases effectively extinguish it as the current passes zero.
