33kv 36kv Silicone Rubber Polymer Drop out C/W Solid Link Fuse Cutout

Our drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are robust, outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Designed to be integrated with the incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, these units are essential for safeguarding transformers or distribution networks from short circuits, overloads, and facilitating load switching. The drop-out fuse cutout features insulating supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts affixed to the insulator supports, and moving contacts on the ends of the fuse tube. This tube is crafted with an inner arc-extinguishing component and an outer layer made of either phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. Our load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with supplemental elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring efficient on-off load current management.
Under normal conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a closed position. If a fault occurs, the fault current instantly melts the fuse, creating an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a significant amount of gas, resulting in high pressure that expels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops out, indicating an open position. For switching during load operations, an operator can use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, main and auxiliary contacts remain engaged. As the pull continues, the auxiliary contacts separate, forming an electric arc. This arc is extended in the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, and the arc-extinguishing gas is released to extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero.
