11kv Porcelain Expulsion Fuse Cut Out Switch

Our cutting-edge Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are high-performance outdoor devices meticulously crafted for superior high-voltage protection. These indispensable components are seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of a distribution transformer or lines, providing a robust shield for transformers and lines against short circuits and excessive overloads. Beyond protection, they adeptly manage on/off loading and current flow with precision. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout is renowned for its solid construction, featuring insulative insulator supports and a resilient fuse tube. Static contacts are firmly anchored on both sides of the insulator support, while a movable contact is ingeniously integrated at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube incorporates an internal arc-extinguishing tube, enveloped in an outer shell crafted from premium phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The Load Switching Fuse Cutout elevates functionality, boasting reinforced elastic auxiliary contacts and a sophisticated arc-extinguishing enclosure to efficiently handle on-off loading currents.
Under normal operating conditions, the fuse link, meticulously secured in the fuse tube, maintains a reliably closed position. If a system fault occurs, the resulting fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc. This process rapidly heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing a burst of gas to create high pressure and extinguish the arc within the tube. Once the fuse link has melted, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning smoothly to an open position. For switch-off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating operating bar to expertly manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc forms, skillfully extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure. Concurrently, the enclosure releases gas to effectively extinguish the arc as the current nears zero.
