11kV Expulsion Fuse Complete with Holder

Our Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are high-performance outdoor high voltage protective devices, designed with precision to connect seamlessly with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines. Their primary function is to offer robust protection for transformers or lines, safeguarding them against short circuits and overloads, while efficiently managing on/off loading and current control. The Drop-out Fuse Cutout comprises durable insulated insulator supports and a meticulously engineered fuse tube. The static contacts are securely fixed on either side of the insulator support, while the moving contact is expertly installed at the ends of the fuse tube, which itself is crafted from an inner arc-extinguishing tube and encased in phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is further enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring reliable switching on or off of loading current.
Under normal operational conditions, with the fuse link tightly secured, the fuse tube is held in a closed position. When faults occur within the system, the fault current causes the fuse to melt immediately, triggering an arc that heats and expels a burst of gas from the arc-extinguishing tube. This creates a high-pressure environment, blowing the arc down the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, unlocking the mechanism and causing the fuse tube to drop out, thereby opening the circuit. For switching off during loading, operators use an insulated operating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain connected; as the operation continues, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc in the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing system releases gas to effectively extinguish the arc as the current reaches zero.
