33kV 100A High Voltage Fuse Cutout Switch

The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout by Zhejiang Yuanneng Power Technology Co., Ltd., are expertly engineered outdoor high voltage protective devices. They seamlessly integrate with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or distribution lines, offering paramount protection against short circuits and overloads, while managing on/off loading currents efficiently. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises insulator supports and a fuse tube, where static contacts are securely mounted on each side of the insulator support, and the moving contact is precisely installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is a marvel, crafted with an inner arc-extinguishing tube and housed within an outer shell made of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring flawless switching of on-off loading currents.
In normal operations, the fuse link, when tightened, secures the fuse tube in a closed position. Should a system fault occur, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse and generates an electric arc. This triggers the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up, releasing a surge of gas that creates high pressure, propelling the arc along the tube. Following the melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, thus transitioning the cutout to an open state. For switching off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and the auxiliary static contact stay connected. During the pull, as the auxiliary contacts separate, an electric arc forms, which is lengthened within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. The ensuing explosion of gas from the arc-extinguishing process effectively blows out the arc as the current passes through zero.
