11kv Expulsion Fuse C/W Holder

The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are essential high-voltage protective devices crafted for outdoor use. Engineered to be seamlessly connected with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they are paramount in safeguarding transformers and lines from inevitable short circuits, overloads, and fluctuating currents. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises robust insulate insulator supports and a resilient fuse tube. Static contacts securely anchor on both sides of the insulator support, while the moving contact is adeptly installed at the ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself boasts an advanced arc-extinguishing inner tube, encapsulated by an outer layer of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure to proficiently manage on-off loading currents.
Under standard working conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube into a steadfast closed position. However, in the event of system faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, instigating an electric arc. This causes the arc-extinguishing tube to heat and discharge substantial gas, leading to high pressure that propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its binding strength, and the mechanism disengages, resulting in the fuse tube dropping out and opening the cutout. If switching off during cutout loading is necessary, operators can utilize an insulating operating bar to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged. Through continued pulling, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc that elongates in the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing process releases gas to effectively extinguish the arc as current approaches zero.
