Power High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop Out Fuse Cutout, Load Break Fuse 30kv-36kv with an impressive creepage distance of 720mm, designed for top-notch safety and reliability.

The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout serve as robust, outdoor high voltage protective devices. Ideal for integration with the incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, these devices are engineered to safeguard your transformers and lines from the detrimental effects of short circuits and overloads, while effectively managing the on/off loading current. Constructed with durable insulated insulator supports and a reliable fuse tube, the drop-out fuse cutout features static contacts affixed on both sides of the insulator support and a moving contact attached to the extremities of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself boasts an interior arc-extinguishing tube surrounded by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout elevates its utility with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, providing seamless on-off loading current management.
During normal operations, the securely tightened fuse link keeps the fuse tube in a closed position. Should a system fault occur, the fault current instantaneously melts the fuse, generating an electric arc. As a result, the arc-extinguishing tube rapidly heats up, releasing a substantial volume of gas, which generates high pressure and propels the arc along the tube. Upon the fuse link melting, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, rendering the cutout in an open position. For switching off during cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact is drawn apart, an electric arc forms, which lengthens within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing gas explosively dispels the arc as the current crosses zero.
