Powerful High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop-Out Fuse Cutout, expertly designed as Load Break Fuse for 33kv-36kv with an impressive Creepage distance of 1080mm.

Experience unparalleled protection with our drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout, meticulously crafted for outdoor high-voltage protective applications. These devices seamlessly integrate with distribution transformers or lines, offering robust defense against short circuits, overloads, and efficient current on/off loading. The sophisticated design includes insulated supports and a durable fuse tube with static contacts securely affixed on either side, while the moving contact fits seamlessly at the tube's ends. Inside, the arc-extinguishing tube-constructed from high-performance phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass-ensures reliability. Load switching fuse cutouts feature resilient auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for precise on-off operations.
In regular operation, the fuse link maintains a secure position within the fuse tube. However, should a system fault arise, the rapid response of fault current promptly melts the fuse, inducing an electric arc. This action heats the arc-extinguishing tube, producing high-pressure gas that expels the arc powerfully along the tube. The release of tension in the moving contact triggers the mechanism, allowing the fuse tube to drop out and transition to an open position. For on-load disconnection, operators use an insulating bar to deftly manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but upon continued pulling, the auxiliary contact separates, generating an electric arc. This arc, expertly extended within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, is efficiently extinguished as gas is explosively released at current zero.
