Introducing our Power High Voltage Current Limiting Polymer Drop Out Fuse Cutout, engineered to impeccably handle electrical demands. Operating between 30kv-36kv, it boasts a remarkable creepage distance of 720mm, ensuring unparalleled reliability and performance.

Our cutting-edge Drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are premium-quality outdoor high voltage protective devices, meticulously designed to connect with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines. They offer superior protection against short circuits, overloads, and manage on/off loading currents seamlessly. The drop-out fuse cutout is a sophisticated assembly consisting of insulated insulator supports and a robust fuse tube. Static contacts are securely anchored on either side of the insulator support, with a dynamic contact smartly positioned at both ends of the fuse tube. This tube comprises an inner arc-extinguishing layer, encapsulated by a durable phenolic compound paper tube or an epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout further enhances reliability with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and a dedicated arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off loading current management.
Under normal operation, our fuse link ensures that the fuse tube is securely positioned in a closed state. However, should the system experience faults, the resulting fault current promptly melts the fuse, initiating an electric arc. This triggers the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up and emit substantial gas, generating high pressure beneath the arc along the tube. Following the fuse link melt, the moving contact loses its tension, causing the mechanism to lock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. When operators need to switch off during loading, they use an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, both main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged. As pulling continues, the auxiliary contact separates, creating an electric arc between the auxiliary contacts. This arc elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, while simultaneous gas explosions from the arc-extinguishing mechanism extinguish the arc as the current approaches zero, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
