Discover the robust Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout-your outdoor high-voltage protective guardians. Specifically crafted to connect seamlessly with incoming feeders of distribution transformers or lines, they act as vigilant protectors against short circuits and overloads while managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is ingeniously crafted with insulating insulator supports and a sophisticated fuse tube. Static contacts are securely fixed on both sides of the insulator support, while the moving contact resides at the ends of the fuse tube. This advanced fuse tube consists of an inner arc-extinguishing tube and an outer layer of phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. Elevate your load switching capabilities with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for superior current management.
Experience seamless operation with our expertly engineered fuse system. During standard operation, the fuse link is meticulously tightened, securing the fuse tube in a closed position. In the event of a system fault, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse and initiates an electric arc. This triggers the arc-extinguishing tube to heat up, releasing a torrent of gas, generating high pressure that expels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tension, the mechanism locks, and the fuse tube drops, leaving the cutout in an open state. For switching off during loading, operators use an insulating operating bar to disengage the moving contact. Initially, the main and auxiliary static contacts remain engaged. As the auxiliary contact separates, an electric arc forms, which elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, arc-extinguishing gases are expelled, extinguishing the arc as the current passes through zero.
